Sports car thieves 'followed driver home'
POLICE believe thieves stole a high-value sports car after following the owner home.
The black BMW Z4M was taken from the driveway of a home in Burnbank, Straiton, in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A police spokesman said it was thought the car was "targeted" and the thieves had followed it to the address from where it was stolen.
He said: "We urge the public to be extra vigilant with regards to where they keep their car keys within their home.
"Most people tend to place the keys in close proximity to the entry doors of their homes and this obviously makes them readily accessible to thieves."
