Mone attacks

I was quite repulsed by some of the online comments I read under your article (12 August) about Michelle Mone being appointed to help the UK Government review entrepreneurial projects in deprived areas.

I can’t claim to be a fan of hers – I disagree profoundly with her politics and am not entirely comfortable with her company outsourcing production to China, where factory staff don’t seem to be earning a fair wage – but the abuse heaped upon her was appalling.

It was sexist and outrageous. The people who say these things should come out into the open and put their real names to their horrible opinions.
