The SNP should not contest the next Westminster election.
Power shifted to Holyrood in the 2007 and 2011 Scottish elections.
At the last general election, the SNP ambition to increase the number of SNP members of parliament from seven to 20 failed abysmally and the party ended up with six.
It would be hard to point to any major impact those six SNP MPs have had on what has gone on in what is now essentially an English parliament.
Even without further devolution of powers to Holyrood, what goes on in Westminster is increasingly irrelevant to Scotland.
It is a waste of resources for the SNP to put up candidates in the next general election.
Its best people should stand for Holyrood.
