A cult classic and must-see for fans of The Office, or just people who hate their jobs. Defying Gravity's Ron Livingston (pictured) plays a cubicle drone who counts out his life in Solitaire games, until he suddenly decides to stop caring. Waitress girlfriend Jennifer Aniston is having her own troubles, meanwhile, and Gary Cole is particularly hilarious as the infuriating boss who keeps popping up to ask for his TPS reports.

First terrestrial showing of the hit musical adaptation that isn't, of course, based upon The Supremes. Beyonc and Eddie Murphy star, but newcomer Jennifer Hudson stole the show (and Oscar) as the jilted singer.

Delightful homage to the fizzy 1950s romcoms of Doris Day and Rock Hudson, with Rene Zellweger and Ewan McGregor as feuding, flirting rival writers.

Happy-Go-Lucky **

TV premiere of Mike Leigh's uncharacteristically upbeat film starring Sally Hawkins as a modern-day Pollyanna breezing into the life of Eddie Marsan's morose driving instructor.
