Site chosen for hospital
A SITE has been identified for a new community hospital in East Lothian.
Health chiefs want to build the East Lothian Community Hospital at what is known as the Hopetoun Unit, the site beside Herdmanflat Hospital in Haddington.
The new facility will replace hospitals in Haddington, including Roodlands, with work expected to begin in spring 2010.
