Sir Tom flying flag in Canada

HIBS owner Sir Tom Farmer is in Nova Scotia this week to celebrate the historic connection between Scotland and the Canadian province.

The Edinburgh-born tycoon will conclude his four-day stay as guest speaker at the Scots Society of Halifax's Robert Burns Supper, where he will give the traditional toast to the immortal memory.

Sir Tom has been meeting representatives from the business, education and government sectors, including Nova Scotia Premier Rodney MacDonald.
