Sign up and sing along at Capital concert for HIV charity
A CHOIR of up to 330 people are set to perform to raise money for charity.
Waverley Care, Scotland's leading HIV charity, is pulling together what is expected to be the largest choir in any of Edinburgh's festivals.
The Armed Man, Karl Jenkins' inspirational mass for peace – originally dedicated to the victims of the Kosovo conflict – is being conducted by Waverley Care patron Christopher Bell.
The "come and sing" event is taking place at the Performing Arts Centre at Stewart's Melville College this Sunday at 6pm.
Mr Bell said: "I am delighted to be conducting this concert and to be continuing my support for Waverley Care, a charity of which I have been pleased to be a patron for 16 years.
"As well as providing a marvellous opportunity for singers to participate in the Festival of Spirituality and Peace, this concert will also help to raise much-needed funds for their work."
Singers' tickets can be purchased by contacting Waverley Care on 0131-556 9710 and audience tickets are available from Waverley Care or from The Hub on 0131-473 2000.
