Hockey: Inverleith have to fight all the way for point

Inverleith seem unable to recover from losing four key players in the close season and twice had to come from behind to share the points in a 2-2 draw with Edinburgh University in the Subway National Division 1.

The students took the lead from the penalty spot after 15 minutes. Inverleith's Andrew Dane levelled from a penalty corner after the break but again the students took the lead with some nice play by Stuart Lang. With time running out, Adam MacKenzie levelled the score and on full time was unfortunate not to net the winner.

Greaves Clydesdale continue to gallop along with a 4-0 victory over AMN Hillhead courtesy of a hat-trick of set pieces from Ciaran Crawford, keeping the Titwood side in pole position.
