Strongman to attempt to lift Dinnie Stones
One of the world’s strongest men will today attempt to match a famous weightlifting record set 154 years ago by a legendary Scots strongman.
Mark Felix, 48, will attempt to lift and carry the “Dinnie Stones” at the Aboyne Highland Games, in Aberdeenshire. If successful, he will follow in the footsteps of Donald Dinnie, who completed the feat in 1860. Dinnie, from Aboyne, was among the first sporting superstars of modern times.
