A YOUNG sheepdog has been stolen from a Borders farm.

The three-year-old Border Collie was taken from a farm near the village of Cockburnspath on Saturday night.

The working dog, which is predominantly white with a black patch on its back, is described as a “small with a friendly temperament”.

Police are investigating and particularly want to speak to four females who were in the area earlier in the day enquiring about dogs for sale.

Anyone with information can contact Police on the non-emergency 101 number.
