FIREFIGHTERS have been called to a major blaze at a coach firm’s garage.
Crews, including six fire engines, attended the incident at the garage in the Salsburgh area of North Lanarkshire at around 2.30am.
Extra resources were brought in due to the size and nature of the blaze, which includes a number of gas cylinders on the site, the fire service said.
A spokesperson from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters are currently tackling the fire using six main water jets including one from a specialist height vehicle.”
Crews are expected to remain at the scene for some time.
