See smokeless tobacco risks
THE health risks of smokeless tobacco are being highlighted in a new campaign by NHS Lothian launched today.
The dangers and consequences of chewing tobacco and snuff are made clear in a new educational DVD.
The multilingual film has been made with the help of volunteers from minority ethnic communities and has been translated from English into Bengali, Arabic, Punjabi and Urdu.
Colwyn Jones, consultant in dental public health, NHS Lothian, said: "We need to make sure young people know about the serious health risks of smokeless tobacco."
The DVD was being launched today at a Capital conference.
