'Secret' inquests plan scrapped
PLANS to allow inquests to be held in secret were dropped from the Counter Terrorism Bill yesterday.
The government scrapped clauses that would have allowed juries and the press to be removed from inquests if ministers deemed it necessary to prevent sensitive information falling in to the public domain.
