Zoo marks one year of pandas

A pantomime and panda-themed arts and crafts are to be held at Edinburgh Zoo as Tian Tian and Yang Guang prepare to celebrate their first anniversary at the attraction.

Dubbed the “pandaversary”, a day of events on December 9 will include free performances of the children’s favourite Peter Pan at 11.30am and 2.30pm.

To further celebrate Tian Tan and Yang Guang’s special day, there will also be special presents hidden at different locations all over the zoo to find and keep.

Children can also take part in Christmas arts and crafts, making the perfect handcrafted gift at this festive time of year.
