Witness plea in Pilton fire

Lothian and Borders Police are appealing for witnesses following a suspicious fire at day centre for pensioners.

The fire started around 7.45pm on Monday in West Pilton Park.

Two wheelie bins were pushed up against the wall of the Pilton Elderly Project before being set alight.

No damage was sustained to the building and one was injured. Police are urging anyone who can assist with their inquiries to come forward.
