Wester Hailes man admits dog neglect

A CITY man has admitted neglecting five puppies following a Scottish SPCA  investigation.

Sean Waggett, 41, of Barnpark Crescent, Wester Hailes, appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court earlier this week and pleaded guilty to failing to meet the needs of his animals to protect them from suffering, injury and disease. Sentence was deferred until August 28.

Scottish SPCA inspector Tracy McNaughton said: “We are pleased Waggett has admitted this offence.”
