Welfare Act on agenda

EDINBURGH East Labour MP Sheila Gilmore and senior SNP councillor Norman Work will share a platform tomorrow night at a public meeting on the social effects of the UK Government’s controversial Welfare Reform Act.

Also speaking will be Sasha Callaghan of Disability History. The meeting, at Portobello Town Hall at 7.30pm, has been organised by East Edinburgh Save Our Services.
