Wee Grant’s lost precious Hearts scarf

An appeal has been made after a young Hearts fan lost his treasured club scarf as he returned from a match.

Six-year-old Grant Stevenson, from Penicuik, was returning with his family from Dunfermline on Saturday when he realised the scarf, which features a design celebrating the club’s 2006 4-0 win over Hibs at Hampden, was missing.

Grant had also collected around ten badges, which were attached to the scarf. One of the badges had a picture of former Hearts goalkeeper Jim Cruickshank on it.

Grant made his way back to Edinburgh by train from the Dunfermline vs Hearts match with dad Robert and 11-year-old brother, also Robert.

His dad said: “He has been collecting the badges for the last couple of seasons and when he realised he didn’t have the scarf he was very upset.”

Anyone who knows where the scarf is should contact Robert on 07746 017938.
