We’re never too sick for a slice of cake

YOUNGSTERS Sam Davie, Kyle Gray and Owen Russell get set to tuck into a cake to mark the 20th anniversary of the Sick Kids Friends Foundation (SKFF).

Many vital procedures carried out at the hospital would not be possible without support and funding from the SKFF. The Evening News has joined forces with it to mark the charity’s landmark this year.

Since its founding in December 1992, the SKFF has smashed targets and raised £18 million – £14m in the last decade alone.
