Walkers take a hike
AROUND 50 keen walkers are to walk the ten miles from Newbattle Abbey College in Dalkeith to Prestonpans tomorrow, to retrace the route taken by 14th century Cistercian monks as they produced salt on the foreshore.
The group will be following almost exactly the same route as the original monks of Newbattle Abbey.
