Vigil for textile workers
MEMBERS of campaign group Labour Behind the Labels held a candlelit vigil outside Edinburgh Woollen Mill’s Princes Street store in memory of more than 100 Bangladeshi textile workers who died in a factory fire last month.
Workers at the Tazreen Fashions factory were allegedly told to ignore a fire alarm when it sounded on November 24.
