Police have lauched an investigation
TWO men have appeared in court charged with the assault of a man who allegedly had part of his ear bitten off in a fast-food restaurant.
The 28-year-old victim needed surgery after the incident in KFC in Glasgow’s Renfield Street at around 11pm last Friday.
James Leat, 20, and Scott Simmonds, 19, both from Glasgow, appeared at the city sheriff court yesterday, charged with assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement and permanent impairment.
Leat is also charged with possessing a controlled drug.
The case was continued for further examination and both men were released on bail.
