Two in court over estimated £165,000 cannabis haul

Two men have been arrested in connection with a haul of drugs seized by police worth an estimated £165,000.

About 550 cannabis plants were recovered by officers when they searched a house in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire, on Wednesday evening.

The men, aged 49 and 43, were arrested and were being held in custody, They were expected to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court today.
