Turtle to join pollution fight

THE Marine Conservation Society – and a life-size leatherback turtle – are set to visit Deep Sea World to help promote a network of protected marine areas around Scotland.

The charity will be on site from Monday to Sunday to try and attract support to help safeguard our seas.

The society will bring along a life-size leatherback turtle to highlight its marine litter programmes, which help reduce pollution that can harm the giant creatures.

There will also be fun activities based on sea turtles for younger visitors.
