TRIBUTES have been paid to a 41-year-old mother of two who was killed in a motorcycle crash in Perthshire only days after taking delivery of the bike.
• Tributes paid to 41-year-old teaching assistant Joanne Hall, who died in a motorcycle crash in Perthshire
• Ms Hall had taken delivery of motorcycle only days before the crash occurred
Joanne Hall, 41, from Scone, died when her black Baimo motorbike was involved in a collision with a black Peugeot car on the Stanley to Kinclaven Road in Perthshire on Sunday.
Ms Hall worked as a support-for-learning assistant at North Muirton Primary School in Perth and was mother to two teenage daughters.
Angela Dow, the school’s head teacher, said: “Everyone at the school has been stunned by this terrible news.
“Joanne was a very highly valued member of staff, who supported many children during her eight years at the school. She was extremely popular with our pupils, colleagues and parents.
“We will miss her terribly. We have informed all of the children of this tragic event, therefore today has been a difficult day at school for staff and pupils alike.
“All of our thoughts are with Joanne’s family at this difficult time.”
