Tram vehicle livery arrives white on cue
THE first images have been released of the new livery which will be used for Edinburgh's trams.
The mainly-white vehicles will feature the traditional madder (maroon) and gold colours used by the city's original trams and more recently by Lothian Buses.
The images were released as figures showed that 11,250 people had visited the tram in Princes Street, right, since it went on public display last week.
Mandy Haeburn-Little, communications director for Edinburgh Trams, said: "The design is crisp and clean to reflect the modern fleet."
