Tram given new paint job

THE city's first tram has undergone a paint job to bring it into line with the project's new livery.

The vehicle, which is currently on public display in Princes Street, has been painted white, madder (maroon) and gold, the colours of the Capital's original tram cars.

A spokesman from the tram project said: "The branding has been applied to give the public an idea of how the trams will look when they are running through Edinburgh's iconic streets."
