Top soloists strike gold at Mod

YOUTH won the day in the prestigious Royal National Mod Gold Medal competition, with Alasdair Whyte, 19, from Mull and Kirsteen MacDonald, 23, from Inverness, picking up the top prizes in the most important solo competition.
