Toilet scheme is unblocked

A BLOCK of public toilets in Colinton has finally opened after a legal dispute lasting months.

The toilets on Colinton Road were completed in October but were kept closed because of a dispute over fees between builders Eco-Logical Developments and the city council.

The firm built the toilets as part of its agreement with the council over an adjacent housing development.

A dilapidated old toilet block next door had to be kept open while the dispute was settled.
