Toddler picked as ‘face of Edinburgh’ by photo firm

A TWO-year-old from Craigmillar has been named as the “Little Face of Edinburgh” in a competition by a family photography company.

Venture Photography launched the search for a child to represent its brand in August at its studio on Earlston Place.

Beth Obe was picked as the winner out of 24 regional entries.

Beth’s mum Mowo said she was thrilled, adding: “When Venture called to tell me that Beth had won, I was bowled over. Obviously, as her family we know Beth has the look, but to receive so many votes and to win this title is amazing.

“We had a great time during the photoshoot. We all had a lot fun and when we saw the shots of Beth we just had to enter the shot into the competition. We’re really excited now to wait and see if Beth is named as the national winner.”

Nina Martin from Venture said Beth was a worthy winner whose personality shone through in her image.
