Tobin home DNA samples tested in Vicky hunt
POLICE searching for missing schoolgirl Vicky Hamilton are testing DNA samples they discovered at murderer Peter Tobin's old home.
They have been searching the house in Bathgate, West Lothian, to uncover the mystery surrounding the 15-year-old's disappearance in 1991. The convicted killer, who murdered Polish student Angelika Kluk, is believed to have left the town just days after Vicky vanished.
Her older sister, Sharon Brown, said she hoped new forensic evidence would help discover the truth. She said: "They haven't found Vicky but they are carrying out tests on various DNA samples and are hoping they will lead to something."
Vicky was last seen waiting at a Bathgate bus stop on her way home to Falkirk after visiting Sharon in Livingston. She never returned home.
