Tickets go on market for Ricky Gervais show
RICKY GERVAIS is to perform in Edinburgh this summer with tickets going on sale today.
The world-famous comedian will take to the stage at the Playhouse on Tuesday, August 25 for a one-night only show as part of the Fringe Festival.
The Emmy, Golden Globe and BAFTA Award-winning creator of The Office and Extras will bring his brand new stand-up show Science to the Capital for what is set to be a sell-out event.
Playhouse general manager James Haworth said: "It is a great honour to welcome Ricky back to the Playhouse for what will undoubtedly be one of the major shows of this year's festival."
The last time Ricky Gervais played the city was in August 2008 when he sold out Edinburgh Castle.
Tickets for August's performance are priced 15/30 and are available from the Playhouse box office, online at www.edinburgh playhouse.org.uk or by calling 0844-847 1660.
