Thug in black attacks man

A MAN suffered serious injuries after being attacked by a thug dressed all in black.

The 20-year-old victim was walking on the grass area between Deanburn and Andrew Court in Penicuik, Midlothian, when the man assaulted him at 10.30pm on Wednesday.

The victim was taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment. The suspect is described as wearing a black hooded top, black cap, black tracksuit bottoms and had a black scarf covering his face.

A police spokesman said: “The victim has suffered some painful injuries.”
