THREE men have appeared
in court in connection with
the attempted murder of a 16-year-old boy.

The teenager was found with serious injuries in a courtyard in Prince Edward Street in Govanhill, Glasgow early on Sunday, 17 February.

Michael Beuckmann, Corrie McLaren and Dylan Stewart, all aged 19 and from Glasgow, appeared at the city’s sheriff court charged with attempted murder and assault to severe injury, permanent disfigurement and to the

McLaren and Stewart are further accused of acting in a racially aggravated manner to cause alarm or distress.

All three of the men made no plea or declaration and were remanded in custody. The case was committed for further examination.
