Thieves target teenage jogger

A GANG of thieves who stole items from a teenager’s bag while she was jogging in a park is being hunted by police.

The 17-year-old girl had chained up her bike at King George V Park in Whitburn, West Lothian, while she went running, but also left her bag behind.

When she returned, she saw three youths around her bike taking items from the 
bag, including an iPod, at around 5pm on 
Tuesday.

A police spokesman said: “The young woman has been left deeply upset at the theft of her belongings.”
