Teens flying in for peace day

A GROUP of teenagers from the Middle East are set to arrive in Edinburgh this week to take part in an open day organised by the Windows for Peace charity.

The charity promotes dialogue and understanding amongst Jewish, Palestinian and Arab youngsters, as well as their communities in the UK.

The group, made up of teenagers aged 14 to 16, will involve youngsters from Edinburgh schools.

Councillor David Beckett said: "I am delighted that young people from our schools are being given this valuable opportunity."
