Taxi firm is branching out into forestry

TAXI drivers are helping reforest Scotland by supporting charity Trees for Life.

Edinburgh cab company Edina Cars is establishing its own grove of native trees in the Caledonian Forest in the Highlands.

It is part of a scheme that allows individuals and companies to have dedicated trees or groves planted for themselves or as gifts.

Kristine Simpson, co-owner of Edina Cars, said it is Edinburgh's first "carbon-neutral" cab company.
