Tattoo DVD is marched out on to shelves
A NEW DVD featuring highlights of this year's Edinburgh Military Tattoo is set for international release.
The 90-minute recording includes previously unseen footage of performers.
The film of the 59th Tattoo was recorded by the BBC, and includes the voice of famous Scottish actor and narrator Tom Fleming.
Major General Euan Loudon, Tattoo chief executive and producer, said: "The BBC has, I believe, captured the very essence of this summer's popular Tattoo production, which showcased the best of Scotland's heritage and culture alongside a wealth of talent from overseas."
The DVD is released on October 20. Copies can be purchased at the Tattoo Shop on Market Street.
