Taste of India at travel fair

An Indian tourism co-operative involving Scottish academics and tourism specialists is to be launched at the world’s highest-profile tourism event.

Edge of India has grown from expertise developed by tourism specialists from Queen Margaret University and Edinburgh-based tourism consultancy, Dunira Strategy.

The project, which will be launched at the World Travel Market in London next week, enables communities to make the most of their cultural and natural heritage.

By encouraging residents to embrace destination marketing and harness the potential of their surroundings, the project aims for sustainable economic growth through tourism.
