Suspect in court again

A WEST Lothian man has made a second court appearance on a murder charge.

Kyle Montgomery, 24, appeared on petition at Livingston Sheriff Court yesterday after being arrested in connection with the death of 55-year-old Thomas Allwood in Broxburn, West Lothian.

A major police inquiry was launched after Mr Allwood’s body was found in the town’s Pyothall Road.

Montgomery, of Winchburgh, West Lothian, made no plea or declaration during the private hearing. The case was continued and Montgomery was remanded in custody.
