Students in Faslane protest
EDINBURGH students joined a protest against nuclear weapons outside Faslane naval base on the Clyde at the weekend.
A delegation of 25 students, from Edinburgh, Oxford, Cambridge and Sussex universities, camped out for two days as part of a peaceful demonstration.
The facility on the Clyde is currently host to the UK's submarine-based Trident nuclear weapons system.
