Store begins countdown

A “PARTY parlour” was set to spring up at John Lewis today as the department store begins its countdown to Christmas.

Advisors will help customers choose the perfect outfit and take them through the party season’s key looks.

Barry Blamire, managing director of John Lewis Edinburgh, said: “The Countdown to Christmas weekend is a great chance for our customers to get top tips and practical advice for the festive season.

“We look forward to welcoming customers and getting them into the Christmas spirit.”
