MEMBERS of the Royal Marines were scaling great heights when they took part in abseiling and climbing at the indoor arena in Ratho over the weekend.

Groups of youngsters from the city, South Queensferry and Bonnyrigg in Midlothian gathered at the world’s largest indoor climbing arena, where they were put through their paces by the troops. Some climbers came from as far away as Fife and Glasgow
