Snappers in the frame at Seabird Centre

ASPIRING snappers are being invited to focus on a high-profile Nature Photography Awards competition.

The Scottish Seabird Centre is calling for final entries for the contest, with the deadline of October 28 drawing near.

The categories for this year are landscape, Scottish wildlife, worldwide wildlife, creative visions of nature, world flora and environmental impact.

Tom Brock OBE, chief executive of Scottish Seabird
Centre, said: “Entries have been streaming in for this year’s awards. We will wait with baited breath to see the shortlist unveiled in the Environment Zone from November 16.

“A little reminder to our members that not only do they get a discount on submission entry to the Nature Photography Awards, but they will also be the first to see the shortlist exhibition on November 15 at the members’ Christmas shopping evening.”
