Smart money is on virtual PA company
A COMPANY which provides virtual personal assistants to businesses aims to create up to 50 jobs in the Capital.
Smart PA is aiming for three years of growth after securing backing from not-for-profit business lender DSL Business Finance.
It is one of the first Edinburgh investments by DSL, which provides finance of up to 30,000 to small and start-up businesses, social enterprises and charities that can't get all of their funding from the bank.
Smart PA already employs five people and has 20 clients in Europe, the US and London.
Eunice Lancaster, general manger of DSL, said: "Many more Edinburgh firms are turning to alternative lenders such as DSL due to the problems in the financial markets."
