Slow sales for Sir Sean's tales
BOOKSHOPS across the Capital are reporting sluggish sales of Sir Sean Connery's recently published memoirs.
Released last Thursday, a number of leading retailers, including Borders and WHSmith, have reported selling as few as 14 copies of the book, Being A Scot.
A spokesman for WHSmith said: "I wouldn't say it was a disaster and we do expect sales to rise. It's the middle of August after all and money is tight for most people."
Despite worries elsewhere, copies have sold out at the Waterstone's store in George Street.
