Sir Chris Hoy hails charity cyclists

TRIPLE Olympic medal hero Sir Chris Hoy has congratulated the organisers of a 130-mile bike ride in memory of a young father who died of cancer.

He said he was impressed by the event last month, which raised 75,000 for cancer charities – more than four times the original target. The bike ride was organised by friends and family of Andrew Best, 36, from Fairmilehead, who died last December.
