Services boost for east trains

RAIL passengers in East Lothian are set to get an improved service.

Transport Scotland is funding train operator Virgin CrossCountry to deliver the new service at Dunbar.

During the week passengers will be able to travel from Dunbar to Edinburgh on a Virgin Voyager train departing at 6.29am and arriving in Edinburgh Waverley at 6.56am. On Friday evenings, passengers will be able to stay later in Edinburgh and catch the last service at 10.54pm, arriving in Dunbar at 11.23pm.
