Sculptures' location is set in stone, says Edinburgh Council
THREE iconic city sculptures are set to return to their original home after being moved for the tram works, it has been confirmed.
Eduardo Paolozzi's three-part sculpture The Manuscript of Monte Cassino – which includes a giant foot – is having to be moved from Picardy Place. Campaigners had hoped the three statues would be relocated at the bottom of Leith Walk to help encourage visitors into the area, but the council has confirmed that they will go back to Picardy Place once the works are completed.
