School’s Michael Moore talk thrown open to the public

EAST Lothian residents are being urged to snap up the final remaining spaces for the Loretto Lecture featuring Secretary of State for Scotland Michael Moore.

Mr Moore will deliver the talk, entitled A Life in Politics, at Pinkie House in Musselburgh on September 13, from 7pm.

Jonathan Hewat, director of external affairs at the school and organiser of the event, said: “There has been a tremendous response to this event and demand for places has been almost overwhelming.

“We are keen that residents of East Lothian have an opportunity of meeting Michael and hearing about his remarkable life dedicated to politics. Hence, we have released a limited number of additional places for people living in East Lothian.”

Places are free and can be reserved by contacting Mr Hewat on 0131-653 4413.
